WHEN CRITICISM CROSSES THE LINE | You Can Criticize Me. Leave the Kids Out of It. | S1 E5
Liner notes
Welcome back to Coyle CHAOS ⚜️🌴 Podcast!
This episode gets a little more serious.
Last week, a stranger came onto my page with plenty to say about me and the podcast. And listen… when you put yourself out there publicly, criticism comes with the territory. You don’t have to like me. You don’t have to agree with me. You don’t even have to like the podcast. 😂
But there IS a line.
When criticism turns into repeated personal attacks… when someone starts dragging your spouse, family, home, finances and personal life into it… and especially when children with special needs are reduced to a punchline just to insult someone else, we’re not talking about constructive criticism anymore.
That’s where this conversation begins.
In this episode, I’m talking about:
🎙️ The difference between criticism and harassment
📱 Why social media has made people way too comfortable saying things they’d probably never say face-to-face
🚫 Why children? Especially children with special needs, they should NEVER be used as an insult or punchline
🧠 The exhausting trap of trying to defend your entire life to strangers on the internet
✋🏼 Setting boundaries, blocking people and understanding that access to you is NOT a right
❤️ Protecting your family, your peace and your energy
👏🏼 Holding people accountable without becoming cruel ourselves
I'm not naming the person, replaying every insult, or dedicating an entire episode to internet drama. They’ve already received more attention than the behavior deserved.
Instead, I wanted to turn an ugly situation into a conversation that might actually mean something.
Because you can criticize my podcast.
You can disagree with my opinions.
Hell, you can think Coyle CHAOS is complete CHAOS. 😂
But cruelty isn’t criticism.
And kids are NEVER the punchline.
We said what needed to be said. That chapter is closed.
Now… back to the CHAOS. ⚜️🌴🎙️👇
JOIN THE CONVERSATION:
Where do YOU think the line is between criticism and harassment? And when someone crosses it online, do you respond… or block, delete and move on?

What is up everybody? Welcome back to another episode of Coil Chaos. Sorry for the week break, almost. I'm sure you all missed me a ton, but your boy lost his voice a little bit and now that I have it back, we're back in action people. So hopefully I didn't keep you waiting too long.
So this is episode 5 now, and this is another solo pod. So my apologies for those that just can't stand to listen to me but still do. But that is a joke. Actually. I, you know, wanted to actually hop on here and kind of address unfortunate situation that I was involved in. And I think it's something probably a lot of people go through, obviously, and something that people probably are going to support when they hear the topic and my stance on it that I'm going to be talking about today. Let's jump right into it.
Why don't we? So last week, you know, I've started this podcast and it's, you know, kind of ruffled some feathers, let's just say. So much so that I had to address my mental health publicly. But that was actually the highest listen to episode. And I think the graphic for that episode was, you know, pretty, pretty spot on. And yeah, mission accomplished on my end. So thank you. Thank you for that. So as I was saying earlier in the podcast, you know, last week I was involved in an unfortunate, unnecessary, I should say, you know, situation that I 100% did not seek out by any means.
So let me give you the lowdown. So last week, a complete stranger, literally this there's this person is someone that I have never to my knowledge, seen in person or even online and definitely not have had any sort of interaction in person, virtually any in any capacity with this person. So he decides to again complete stranger him and this one other guy and I will share some screenshots of the comments that were made to me. If you are able to watch this podcast, you know, on the video version on YouTube, Spotify, Apple podcast, wherever you get your podcasts.
Nice plug, but so this stranger comes on to my podcast, my small little brand new podcast, and on my Facebook coil cast page, he decided to take it, take it to Facebook. So he came on and he was just I mean, he took the word criticism to a whole new level. He just had come in and I mean, you could just from the first post again, a complete stranger, right? So he was just absolutely spewing just, I mean, you know, awful, nasty, cruel things about myself, my family, my brothers and I. And, you know, just spoke about my parents, mentioned my parents, mentioned my family, my wife, you know, just mentioned obviously my character.
He just, you know, took that one out with the best he could. But obviously your boy here is a little bit too strong for someone behind a keyboard to, you know, try and bring me down South, you know, and look, let me just preface the beginning of this podcast that I'm not looking, you know, to give this person whose name I will not mention and I will will not show his face anymore. So if you did happen to miss out in real time on Facebook, I did, you know, take screenshots of the comments that he was making to me along with his, you know, Facebook cover page and obviously his profile picture and get this.
So I imagine there were two people, but the one who was just, I mean, he, he just clearly must have had met us, my family and I in his dreams. And he just absolutely despises. And you could just hear the hatred for the coils coming from the words on the screen that I was reading. And so, you know, I don't want to give him a whole episode. I'm obviously going to mention these people, these disgusting cowards. And honestly, after all of this, and like, thinking back on it, I, I, I don't even know if if this is an actual achievement because it just, it, I mean, I know this world and people in it are going through it, which thank God I'm not.
You know, I've already addressed my mental health on this public platform. So still doing good, guys, Still doing good. But yeah, so, you know, I during the back and forth with this douche, you know, I did engage, which, you know, now looking back, I, I truly do regret that decision. But you know, just, I guess like defense mechanism just kicked in instantly. And you know, it was just like I said, man mentioned talking about my family, me, my character, my finances. I mean, he he like hit on everything as if he knew anything.
And I fact checked with everyone from family members to friends to, you know, Facebook friends that just happened to catch a catch all the drama at the right time. And yeah, no one seems to know who this the number one fan was. But then, you know, and looking at this person's Facebook page, and then I had mentioned that there was another clown that decided to chime in. And I checked out his page. He's got a whopping 1 friend.
Yeah, 1 friend. And he is super busy on his page because he had like, I think a total of 3 posts and you know it, all three posts were about your bullying. And you know, I can't, can't take all, all the attention in the situation. He did, you know, take some jabs at the brothers and a couple other people that he's never met or I don't even think seen in person. So, but like this situation just brought this topic that this podcast is going to be based on what I'm going to be speaking about to to my attention that, you know, like it online behavior and you know, personal boundaries in this day and age.
It just, it seems like our society has completely forgotten the difference between criticism and harassment. The criticism is legal. Harassment is illegal. And I mean, don't quote me on that, that it's an actual fact, but it's not. It should be OK. I mean, it's simple as that. And it's just, it just has me thinking like, I mean, have we just allowed for people to act this way online? I mean, the bullying, the hate comments. And then like, in my case, it was directed at a complete stranger. Like I know we are all going through things in life, you know, but you mean to tell me you think the best approach is to go on a public platform online, so a virtual world, not in person.
And you just got to, you know, get some get some steam off and and you're just going to I did was I just chosen randomly? I mean, I get it, like I'm a triplet you or maybe you or someone probably if you're local to the New Orleans era, you were bound to have had some sort of run in with my brothers and I. And look, I know what could be said about me from the the past. I know what could be said about my brother Eric. I know what could be said about Chris. Like I mean, I'm aware of all of my imperfections, but at the end of the day, I can say with a good honest heart that I know I'm a good person and anyone that truly knows me knows I'm a wild one.
But at the end of the day, I'm a real 1 and I'm a good person. You know, if you are my people, like we're family basically. Like my kids are calling you auntie and uncle. But you know, that's I guess neither here nor there, but I'm just trying to get the point across that, you know, we all have our moments and but when it comes down to this online bullying shit that it just irks my soul because it's such a like a Sissy move. You know, I mean, I want to say so many other choice words to describe this behavior and but you know, I'm going to try to be respectful, but not making any promises on any profanity on this episode.
OK, so if you have sensitive ears, I guess now's the time to turn this bitch off. I kid, I kid. But, you know, trying to make light of the situation. So let me get back on on what had gone down. So, you know, like this person is coming spewing all this hate and like I had mentioned earlier, like there is a difference between criticism and harassment, you know, like, look, I get it. Not everyone is going to like this podcast, you know? And that's fine that that is any logical person with a brain knows that everything isn't for everyone.
And you're going to have people that do not like, you know, anything you do. So I mean, it just that's the way of life. You can criticize people. I mean, this is America. And look, I am a fan of constructive criticism. You know, you maybe you're saying something I don't. And so I'm looking at it as, you know, if you bring something constructive to my attention, maybe it's something that I need to look into, you know, but when it comes down to not liking someone, like disagreement with someone's, you know, statements, beliefs, actions, whatever, doesn't have to like automatically turn into hate or it disagreement doesn't equal hate, if that makes sense.
It's it's just the way that this world is. It's just you people just go straight to hating and you know, look, personal insults and all this shit talking is not contributing anything of value to a potential good conversation that could be had. And let me in case you know, some people are really hard on themselves. Let me just say this. So someone disliking anything that you do, your content, your work or whatever, the way you brush your hair doesn't make your actions, your productions, your work, your effort worthless.
Like don't. Please, if you are someone that you know gets down and hard on themselves, like please know that that someone not liking something is not a reflection of your actions, your hard work, your efforts. So, you know, just reminder. So yeah, like, you know, you think I need better lighting, better content, you know, better editing, which you're not probably going to get unless, you know, this thing just blows up. And I got some Joe Rogan money, but doubt it. So like, look, but opinions are fine.
That's that's fine. That is opinions or criticism in some some fashion, right. But when it turns into attacking someone's, you know, character, their their marriage, their family members, their home, their financial situation that you most likely have no idea about or even like their appearance, which is awful. Like that's not or or review like you don't just do that. I mean, that is deliberately trying to upset someone or 'cause someone some sort of heart or pain for whatever childish reason, probably.
So this person who decides to come on my Facebook page, he decides in his long Bible verse passages that he is going to compare my content because he allegedly is this content creator. And I mean, allegedly he's making, he was making comments and I'll post these snips, but like, oh, you're not a creator like this is, you know, you can't even read a dashboard or all this crap. And then he goes on to compare my content or this podcast, and me and my buddy Greg, who was on this episode that he happened to comment under, compared us to like, watching and listening to children with special needs.
Like, what the fuck? Are you serious? Like in all of this hatred and, you know, animosity that you're virtually giving to me and and my family. Like you are going to go so low to like speak about children like that. To me, just speaking poorly about children is never acceptable, like in any capacity. But then you're going to turn into the big piece of shit that you clearly have shown everyone who got their eyes on the these actions and words that, you know, children with special needs. Wow, hope you feel good, buddy.
I hope you feel good, you big fucking douchebag. Aside for the language. But you know, I did preface and give a give a warning that might happen. So like back to society. Like, how have we just, you know, in any capacity think that children with disabilities aren't people? Like, they are human beings just like us. They're not, you know, a caricature that is used for comparisons trying to, you know, get a low blow at someone or or put someone down or demean them. Like, you don't realize it. Honestly, I didn't realize it until these comments were made publicly and I brought it to everyone's attention because that's another thing that I'm going to address after this is, is how more people don't speak up when shit like this goes down.
But like those that one comment, you know, and I don't have it in front of me, but like I said, I'll post it. That one comment, his words and that language that he was using effects so many people. It it's like this topic. Children with special needs is like, you know how they say, oh, everyone knows somebody that's been infected with cancer. Every single person knows someone in this world who, you know, is a child or a human with special needs. And and that effects obviously the children being spoken about, but it affects the entire family.
You know, like that's just like, it's such an awful thing. Like when I was seeing people starting to comment, like thanking me, like coming to my defense, but then they were thanking me and like, you know, staying stating that they were parents to somebody with special needs. And it's like, wow, you big piece of shit you really like. Luckily I got some thick skin. This douche didn't, you know, keep me awake for one extra minute like. But I say that because not everyone is like me. And he most definitely fucked up some people's days with with that comment because it it it, you know, you just don't realize how many people have that, you know, in their life.
And it is difficult. I as I can imagine, as anyone could imagine. I mean, living with me is difficult. And I am not, you know, diagnosed with any sort of, you know, disability except, like I said, I'm all crazy here and there. But but, you know, it's just awful like that. This piece of shit, I know for a fact ruined so many people's days because you can go and see the comments and there were a handful of women who shared that. Thank you for speaking up, you know, and volunteer that they were, you know, about parent to someone, a child with special needs.
So that just really just just hurt my soul. And then so like I had mentioned, you know some people with a heart and. With any sort of, I guess vocal ability did obviously, you know, see the comments in real time and they started making comments and, you know, coming to my defense. And then obviously they were clearly, once they read through everything, it was, you know, obviously as everyone should have been, you know, offended by the words speaking poorly and shining any sort of negative light or comparison to children with special needs like so.
But it just got me thinking that it's like when people post these videos of someone getting their ass beat, I mean, heads smashed, kicked into the ground off cement. And you have, you know, a handful or sometimes 10's and 20s of people just standing there with their phones watching someone potentially, you know, either get beaten to death or get injured and just degraded and, and like treated and displayed as just like nothing of value. Like, and they're just recording it, you know, wait and try to get the next viral video.
Like, what a bunch of awful people that is. Like, I truly do believe all the shit that these people post these fight videos. And like, yeah, they pop up on your feet. Of course it's going to catch your attention. So he's getting their ass beat. Like, I mean, you're not there in person, but I want to see if like, you know, this person is good survived. I mean, and so I truly do believe that people that post this shit online for clicks and views and and to display for some sort of perceived benefit of theirs, their ass should be charged like the piece of shit that's doing these awful things to people in these videos.
Like, I mean, you can say that that's a little extreme, but like, I don't think it is like it's disgusting that people can be viewed like as literal like and it's like hitting an animal. But I don't even want to compare humans to animals because I mean, you shouldn't beat the shit out of animals either. But you know, it's it's like people see an adult or someone who appeared to be a person of the age of an adult. But this thing I mean, I can't even compare this douchebag to a human because like what human acts like that?
You know, like and act like like said these words with clearly not a care in the world of how and if it, you know, hit a nerve on somebody or offend someone and it's just. It's. Sad how many people just sit back and let awful shit happen. Like, yeah, I mean, if somebody's got a gun, you know, to your head, like, yeah, maybe think twice before speaking up. I mean, this day and age, you can't even really build a horn at anyone without potentially, you know, getting in between some crossfire. But it's just sad that, you know, people don't speak up.
They don't No one defends anyone. And it's it's just like no one gives a shit like and it's just awful. Like you better believe unless I see a visible weapon, if I see some awful shit going down, I'm going to speak up and say something. I mean, I don't have much size on me, so physically I'm limited. But you know what I'm saying? Like it, it's just, I mean, everyone should be programmed like that. It's just awful. So, you know, let me give you some reminders. As I mentioned earlier, criticism and harassment are two different actions, like I said.
Criticism. Is fine, it's America, you can give your feedback, opinion on anything, right? But when it crosses the line and you start. Attacking. That one individual time and time again can become obsessive with it. And it's just then you start bringing in their family members, you know, their character, their, you know, potential lifestyle. And when you better, you better have facts because like I said, this person does not know. He knows whatever I've posted online and you know, I guess what he's heard through the Grapevine.
So that can go a bunch of ways. I mean, but that's besides the point. Like it's just. When you start. Going after one particular person, that's when it turns into harassment and that's what this like I said, I got thick skinned. He did not affect me in any way, shape or form. But you know, he did probably offend and upset and affect. Many people. With his ignorant comments that were totally off. Base like I. Mean what of? And then he tried to. Act like he was this smart guy like I didn't know chat was right in his his, you know, his verbiage.
Like, I mean, he probably left the wrong dashes or something in there, but like, you know, like people have got to understand like. The difference between those? 2 terms because it it, it's too frequently turning quickly into like they're just skipping just off in their opinion and it just goes straight to harassment is what it is. I mean, when do you have somebody that's writing paragraph after paragraph about alleged Intel into your personal life or, you know, any sort of false statement about you, your family, etcetera.
I mean, that is just downright bullshit and it's harassment. And I mean, God, we don't have enough prison space because some people really couldn't use a little stint. But yeah. Look, I don't understand. Why people leave hate comments? I mean it. It's just something that will boggle my mind like, you know, I mean, I see it on my brother's page. He is a hair stylist and he does beautiful hair. I mean, look, I got a high and tight. I mean, I shaved my head balls for almost 20 years, three days a week.
So I'm not the hair guru by any means. But you know the shitty posts it looks fire and people will like. Just hate on. It in the comments, not many, but I love diving in his comments and I'll see people like it looks the same like what looks the same this this broad came in, you know, with Amy Winehouse weave. And then you see him with the clip to boom and she's got like what looks like 5 rolls of foil in her hair and he's saying Oh yeah, two hours later or whatever. And then I mean they put in chemicals in their hair and shit, like I mean it.
It's just. It's crazy, like, I mean, I'm guess just blessed with 2020 vision and great hearing and I just, you know, can see and hear when something's bullshit and is just coming from a place of negativity and trying to get a rise out of somebody. And it's just such such cowardly behavior. So yeah, if you are someone like I mentioned earlier, that is, you know, easily offended and hard on themselves and, you know, maybe in a bad spot in life, please. And even if you're not just sometimes things can just hit you different, like unexpectedly, like anything that is said to you or about you.
In any. Capacity online. Like. Please do not let that should affect you. I mean. Like I said. I'm hoping this person, you know, was an actual human and like somebody really didn't take the time to do some AI shit to come give some coil some hate. Like, I mean, God, like I know we're good looking, but shit, like, I mean really, we're all taxpaying, you know? Hard. Working men in the New Orleans area and I mean, it ain't like, you know, my brothers and I are just mooching off the off the. Wealth. That we don't come from and you know, are just posting yachts and shit.
Like dude, like I post some funny podcast shit, you know, my brother is in the influencer world. Like that's that's it. That's a job. I mean, I'm just. Doing shit for attention and kicks. And I mean, it's just it doesn't need to be taken that serious like people need to like if if you are somebody that wants to get on a computer or your phone and just. For fun, go. And bash someone else, try to, you know, make someone feel like shit. Ruin someone's day. Like dude, you need to go and find. The Lord.
You got to go and find a hobby, some friends. A quiet. Corner like it, it's just. So bizarre. To me like. What do they call them? Keyboard warriors like what a bunch of losers like that is straight up the definition of a loser, an online bully like God, people like if you take anything from this, anything said about you online, I mean, unless you, you know, are doing some illegal business and the news picks up and they got evidence and receipts like I mean then and you know, and shit's true about you.
But if you just got somebody bullying you and talking shit online, like especially on your social media page, like. I mean. I know I could be private but like then I'm not going to get any followers and shit like so I'm saying nothing public but like no. Why does anyone? Have to worry about going to their page like their, you know, outlet like like a lot of people as I'm one of them social media brings them joy like that's their guilty pleasure throughout the day and you know, it's like they're junked garbage TV show like don't like I don't.
Even think. To like, go on someone's page that I don't like. I don't think about people that. For some reason I may. Not like or like, you know, like. Or feel some type of way about. Like why are you going online typing in the name? And then I'm posting podcasts and that one with Greg was long and even the little clip clips I posted were like 6 minutes. Like so you took all that time? To go. And watch my shit. I mean, I'm grateful for you, like I said, you know. I gained. Buku followers, actually, I was chilling at like, waiting to hit 100.
Now you got me over 500 like in, you know, a couple of days. So thank you, you loser, and you're welcome. You know, I told this dude I was like, yeah, because clearly he's trying to get some sort of attention, you know, and I was like, Oh yeah, look, you got, you got your 15 minutes. I mean, after I had posted, Oh yeah, that's what it was. I got rewind. So I end up snipping this douchebag's comments and, you know, he posted this under the coil chaos page. Like I said, I was, you know, waiting to hit 100 followers or whatever.
And so he's going to come on my little page and write passages. And I mean, so he's talking all this garbage. So then I screenshot everything and then I go on my personal Facebook page and Instagram, which it has, you know, much many more followers. So I wanted eyes to see it. And so I posted it on my personal and then I think after like his what third passage Bible passage that he left me he. Comments. Oh, well, you know, still talking this shit. And then he's like, well, we can just delete this.
We can just delete this and go our separate ways now. And so I was like, oh, no, buddy. I was like, you wanted your 15 minutes. I'm gonna be, I'd be nice. And I'm actually giving you 16. And I posted his profile picture and, you know, Facebook header and and this guy was. He looked. Like a loser. But should be talking about people, but he just is not a a person worth worrying about and then get this. He had some sort of I, I I'll show the screenshot like a Jesus Facebook header. So we got a holy.
Roller over here, you know, a man of faith coming up my page to harass me and degrade me and and. Then the other guy. Who I had mentioned he wasn't, you know, as as obsessed. He wasn't the president of the Coil fan club like this other one, but he had. As I mentioned. Earlier one. 1 friend. And a whopping 3 posts. And they were all. About your boy and his profile pictures, him and a kid like how awful is that you? Got. This kid on your lap, in your profile picture, and then you go and. To. Do something that hopefully never happens to him, like or like even like a young kid.
Like if he's at school, that would be awful if that kid, you know, came home and like was affected, upset for being bullied at school. Like how fucked up is that? But. He's going to be bullying. I mean, these dudes got to be probably I'm I'm almost 40, almost 40 years old, grown ass men acting like little sissies. Little. Children. Like in the womb.
So yeah, it's just something that I think that will always, always be a question, you know, like, why do people? Go on. Someone's page and freaking. Like leave. Hate. It's just it's. Actually pathetic and you know, cracks me up so. But yeah, I mean. This online era that we're in, it's just. You know. People. Think they need, you know, or they're entitled. That's what I love like a stranger. You're truly these days like feels entitled to to your personal business, my personal business history. And then, you know, when something's brought to you immediately, your first instinct is to speak up, defend.
Or at least that's mine and probably a lot of others. And you. Like. I caught myself engaging and talking back. But then, I mean, I don't need to prove anything to this stranger. This could be, you know, little Elon's parrot. I like at that point, like, I'm just, you know, getting trapped inside of his narrative. And and I, I, I don't need to be doing that because he and I are not the same person, clearly. So it's just, yeah, he had to, you know, refrain from continuing to engage. And then, of course, he got blocked.
I took his name off of the post that I had tagged him in. I, you know, removed the pictures of his face or alleged face and his Jesus banner, you know, such a good man of faith. And then I, I left up what didn't have their name or what stayed from my post that I responded back to just so people can, you know, see, like, look, you got this douche bag. I'm sure if you went in the comments, you could probably find somebody to, you know, reveal their name, whatever. But like I don't want. These people to.
You know. Like, not that. I got like the Swift army or anything, but you know. Badgering him. Harassing him back and like, you know, just talking shit because that's literally the opposite of of what? What? People need to be. Doing on social media these days, it's, it's just to really get out of out of hand. I mean, when you think about all the stories you hear about online bullying and then people, I mean, are, are so affected by the they're taking their life like young kids. Like, it's just irks my soul, this shit.
So yeah, hopefully me venting, expressing my frustrations, you know, brings light to this topic that, you know, like I said, I I didn't really think about all mind bullying and shit much. I mean, and then this happens and I'm like, not for me. Like I said, I'm good. You know, aside from. What others might think, you boys good. And I am strong enough to take this and, you know, read it, laugh at it. And it does not affect me. It's not going to haunt me, these words. But that's not the case for everybody.
And there are people out there that are going to be affected by this dumb shit that is posted about them. And it, it just, it, it's awful. And I think it, you know, we got to do something about it. Like, you know, I I kept my screenshots like. Because this dude was like getting a little crazy. Michelle and I were like, Jesus, like, is he going to show up at our house? I mean, like, I'm sure he knows where we live. Like he, you know, did some, he clearly talked to somebody, did some sort of homework with his passages that he was sending, like on a Facebook post.
It just so bizarre to me.
So yeah, I mean, I guess yeah, that is enough on this topic, but I mean. I know it's another. Solo pod but. Hopefully. Me sharing this unfortunate, despicable situation that I got myself caught in the middle of simply being I guess a coil. And that kind of sounds like, oh, like, I think for somebody. But yeah, it's just like there's three of us. You know, we're like the. Neapolitan, you know, not everybody likes strawberry with the chocolate and vanilla. You know, some people don't like vanilla, like, who don't like the great divide.
But, you know, but yeah, so I do want to, you know, just close this up by saying, you know, thanks to everyone that did, you know, come to my defense in in any capacity and then more importantly, the ones that spoke up and, you know. Basically. Called out this person for his horrific, you know, actions and, and words and like, and it was just one statement, but like that one comparison just was so awful. And to such a group of, you know, it's children, like I said, overall, who are innocent and usually cannot defend themselves or stand up, stand up for themselves in in any capacity.
So you know, you're you're going after them. Like for what? You're selfish, insecure, you know. Moment. Or or like it's, you know, you got to if you're gonna if your mind ever goes to talking poorly about a child like. Don't do it. And then please go and seek out help because you are a troubled individual and I'm sorry that didn't get the therapy and get over your daddy issues or whatever your hauntings of your past that are just. Fucking with you. Every day. So yeah, please don't be a weirdo like that.
But yeah, so thanks to everyone that spoke up and and I I mean, also want to say sorry that, you know, this person's language could have affected you or, you know, upset you during your day. Like obviously, you know. I had no idea this was. Coming for me on this. I think it was like a weekday too. So. But yeah, we just, I guess need to start, you know, making people have some sort of accountability for this online harassing and bullying Like it's it's. I mean. And that's why I mentioned earlier about, you know, adults speaking up.
Like, if you see something awful happening, say something like I said, unless someone's got a gun out visibly and, you know, you are potentially putting yourself or your family, whoever you're with, like in the lot of fire, Like, yeah, think twice. But for an online bully, like,
they should be flooded with comments because there are a lot of good people in this world. And it's just sad. People are just scared to, to say anything. But I mean, there's got to be a, a point where you say like, fuck this, like I can't, I can't sit back and, and, and listen to this, you know? So yeah. I appreciate it, all of the support and yeah, hopefully we can get this world like back in a better place. What we've learned class. No, for real. Like. So what I've I've. Taken from, this is basically.
Not. Every single comment one deserves a response even though it's so hard. And then sometimes for your mental sanity, it's you know you're only going to get to. You know a. A sense of peace is like when you remove yourself from the conversation, you know, because had I not blocked that dude and kept engaging, like he would have got me all fired up. Like somebody in my house could have said something to me, like what? Like, And then that would have been a, a trickle effect and affected others around me when it doesn't need to be.
So just leave the conversation. You know, it's not like if you block somebody that's like, ha ha, they lost, like they, they blocked me first. Like no, that, that's not how it works. You know, you gotta set your boundaries and stick with them, you know, I mean. And definitely. Don't go on a social media page or a podcast or business page and invent anything negative. Like, I mean, unless you had like a nail or something in your food at a restaurant, then maybe you could, you know, call that to someone's attention.
But you get the point. But yeah, you know, it's just. So. Many other questions and thoughts spawn off of this. It's, you know, social media. As much as I love it, I am not. Unaware. Of the fact that it has really messed up this world. It's given so much good and so much knowledge, but then it's also created so much just damage. I mean, like I mentioned earlier, like, people have literally lost their lives over a online feud or online bullying and like, that is just crazy to me. So yeah. I. Hope you all survived this entire episode.
I'll try and trim it down, but this is actually a pretty good flow, so I might not have much to do. So yeah.
Check out the. Video portion of this on I think it's on it's definitely on Spotify and I don't know if. Apple. Has a video. Portion, but if not, I also did make a YouTube try to, you know, have all the platforms and well, actually, I'm not doing anything else but TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, and then obviously the Spotify and Apple podcasts. But like, I mean, it's just I can't I can't keep up with any any other platforms. You know, we got a good solid. Couple of decades. With these Ogs and. You know, let's.
Just if it if it's not broke, don't fix it like or don't add anything else. You know, improve the platform that we're all. In the know with. And. Can. Manipulate and use, you know, So yeah, thanks for listening guys. And oh, I am almost certain that I mean, we haven't scheduled anything, but I'm excited because I've reached out to a bunch of people who are not a bunch, but like a handful of people who I thought, you know, had some cool jobs or just have had, you know, like an experience and a journey that, you know, I'm excited to to interrogate them about.
And no chitchat. So hopefully all all three of these guys are are going to be definite because I, you know, like I said, reach out to him and I just, I have so many curious thoughts. And it's like you were sitting somewhere and it's like, oh, that guy's this or that or she does that looks like she does that. It's like, I wonder what it's like. And so, yeah, I mean if you have a cool job or if you. Have a. Wild story and journey that's gotten into the place. You are at now. And you are alive and well and not at rock bottom.
You can never know. I might be hitting up your DMS and seeing if you want to come chop it up with us. So yeah, guys, thank you so much for listening to another episode, Episode 5 of the Coil Chaos Podcast by Brandon Coils have a good one Pace.
