Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome TikTok star, my triplet brother Eric Michael, hair celebrity hair stylist to the stars and the owner of old Metairie Aria Hair Salon. What is that, Eric Michael Hare? What's up, Brandon? Oh, cheers bro, Thank you. Thank you for coming by today. This is nice. You better be paying me good for this. He's funny, everyone, He's funny. I asked him if he could meet my quota. Well, you know, my people couldn't get a hold of his people some for some reason. So we are.
Well, we'll figure that out later on. Time is money, make it snappy. God, ladies and gentlemen, he is great with dingers as well. So I want to first touch on this, Eric, because it's kind of wild being your bro. When did this shit just pop off? And you, I mean, we're going to obviously have you tell us how you got into hair in a little bit. But like, this is wild. I've been recognized and approached a handful of times because I'm his triplet brother. Like, I gotta give it to you. Everyone knows I'm I'm the one that wants to be famous.
They want it's a goddamn reality show. But you know, look you. Beat me. At Bravo, yes. So I mean, look, I'll do a Hulu. I don't. I mean a Peacock, whatever. But yeah. So give us. I mean I feel like I can't even remember when it hit. Are we talking about coil chaos? Or no. At Eric. Michael Hare we're talking about at Eric Michael Hare. I'm trying to ride these coattails to get coil chaos to that next level. So for real like when did I real shit? I can't even remember when this. Like it copped January 15th.
Last year or? This year, January 15th, 2026, I posted my first TikTok and I was like I'm going to be for real about it. I had 204 followers. I know I remember you. I, I felt like I was, you know, Big Shake and I had more followers than Eric Michael before. I posted a few things and I didn't even have microphones and it did OK. And then I got some mics, took it a little more serious and. It did OK so like you you got I can't like you just posted a video and that. And me and Gia were it was the night before I was leaving for a photo shoot.
I was flying to Dallas and we went to some Italian restaurant. What was it off Causeway? OK restaurant. Oh, Filippo. Yeah, restaurant Filippo. Good spot. Good spot. We. Were we had the stop in Harahan and my phone started going crazy and then I was like what the fuck's going on? And and then we got to the restaurant. And I was so hyped. I was like, Oh my God. Told Gee, I was like, this is this is I was like, I don't my phone won't stop dinging and. That's wild. We got in the restaurant and by the time we left maybe like a hour and a half hour and change I think.
I had and what was the post? Like 67000 followers. I don't remember that shit like took off like a like a I was obsessed with watching it. Actually, I think it was Maddie's post Our sister-in-law. Really. Yeah. Look at that family, always helping each other out. That started climbing and then I was like, well fuck I, I have to ride the wave. And thank God you did. Yeah. I started posting consistently, took it serious, and almost seven months later, it's. I mean, we're pushing a million dude. Like, yo, this is look, I mean, I know we're the coils.
I don't know. People have their opinions by the end of the year. But I'm going to be. Up props. Well dude, I mean we're only in freaking August. I mean you went from six. I mean from what? What are you at now? 6 something whatever the yeah, so then you went from almost. 6:15. I, I remember we were like, holy shit, like I was watching it that night. I was like he's about to hit 5 half 1,500,000 and then you from from 500 to 600 was like a matter of weeks. When Brandon and Michelle were out, we were watching the twins and.
Such a good guy. I hate 500,000. I mean, I remember, I actually have a screenshot. I'll, if I can't figure out how to do it, I'll throw it up there. Dude, that I, I look, this is, this is wild shit. So like now, like, do you think that this is and 'cause I'm, I'm actually very curious about this. Do you think this is like you just got lucky with the algorithm? Like how 'cause like this is truly going to and has and will continue, you know, to change like your life opportunities. Obviously business is booming.
I mean. You know, I mean, I think any anything special luck is involved, but I will never discount your hard work dedication. I've put into my craft my career over the last 20 years almost and. It's so it's been 20 shit. Almost I I feel like I've done what majority of the people in my industry haven't done. I've stuck with it. I've stayed consistent, I've grown, I've. You think he's grown a little? Bit huh? I've done a lot of what a lot of other people won't do, and I think that is showing now. Well, and like now that you've hit like in this and you have like this, you know, like loyal supporters in your hair industry.
I'm telling you, I have a it's like a cult. Yeah, I was going to say it like when I tell you like I I love my hobby as a weight is to when we're not, you know, I'm not working or with the kids or doing something else. I legit it's go into Eric's comments. I mean, we'll touch on a couple of his. You know, we're definitely going to touch on a couple. I want to have a couple quick opinions of his most viral tik toks, but like, yeah, that I got to support him when that last comment y'all this dude freaking went to Baton Rouge, comes back after doing college and it's like, hey, I'm going to do hair comes back with like that blonde Mohawk shade.
I actually have the picture for my T-Mobile Sidekick and I always. Think about this I. Was wasn't really like you? You no. I was your tripling you never showed air designs. So like when you came up, I always. Think about this in my mind. I'll never forget when I first started doing hair. Dad looked at me so serious and he's like, you're going to be the best dressed homeless person on the. Bridge. That was Biggie and one of his good lives. Dad never saw the vision and I remember telling him I was like, Dad, I promise you I will be the most successful hairstylist.
In the state of Louisiana, if he was he and. He he never got to see the Yeah. Climb Dad would be in the comment section with his yeah with his funny self. Yeah. That is why, and I'm wishing dude he would. He would have fun with this. I mean he would have a. Blast with it because because our dad was the most proud parent you'll ever meet in your life and he loved bragging on us. But when he was doing that, at that time in my life, I didn't have a firm grasp on what direction I was heading. Well, yeah, because he was like my career dad, as we all were, were like, what the fuck?
He's going to be a hairdresser. Like, well, he's going to be like hair. Like, I know he's looking down. He's like that motherfucker. Hey, that motherfucker did it. That's what's so wild is how you've gotten to this point after like, I don't think he ever even had any desire or knowledge or anything about hair. It's crazy. So yeah, it's going to be a short pod y'all. We have Eric's Co star Gia in the background messing up. Production, yes. Stay tuned how we're going how this I fucking love this podcast.
Y'all Carson? Like Eric, is that?
